
You may note that I said that Civil Engineers are often likely to tinker with code. You can install directly from the link above. I am using MacOS, but I also have Jupyter Notebooks installed on my work Windows machine.

It’s therefore really good for programming as a Civil Engineer, as we are often likely to ‘tinker’ with code, writing it in stages to get it doing what we need – for example to support a specific calculation or process on a specific project. The reason for this is that it lets you build up code in discrete sections, including seeing outputs for each section as you go.

As I said in my previous post I will be using Jupyter Notebooks to write code.
